RCVS Accredited
In 2005 the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons set up a new Practice Standards Scheme to encourage all types of veterinary practice to satisfy a rigorous set of standards appropriate for the species treated by the practice. Only those practices meeting these standards are accredited and allowed to use the Practice Standards logo (pictured below). Accredited practices have volunteered to undergo inspection by a qualified inspector every four years. The practice must certify annually that it continues to meet the necessary standards and may be subject to spot checks. We are delighted to have received our accreditation as a General Practice (tier 2) for Small Animals in January 2006.
Further information about the scheme is available via the Royal College website.
