The Adventures of Freddie & Penny
After running our new puppy classes I couldn't resist getting a puppy for my own! Freddie (Jackscrofter Fred Astaire) was duly collected on the 6th June 09, and has instantly gone out of his way to please. A big thank you to Chris Green for raising such a lovely pup! He is just lovely! Then I couldn't resist again and we got another puppy to be Freddies friend. Already Fred and Penny are the best of mates, and entertain each other for hours. Although, I have to step in sometimes and split them up, because like children you have to teach them the boundaries. They get overexcited, just when we humans would like to sit down with a cup of coffee and have a break. At the moment we use the command finish, and give them something else to distract them. But, like all training it takes time!
